Because of my condition presently I won't initiate. That will change in about 1 year. I like confident assertive women, they don't scare me!

Why wait around? If there's someone I want to chat with, I'm going to contact them. In person, if there's someone I'd like to get to know, I'll start a conversation. I don't understand the waiting around part.

So then it's both of their faults for waiting for the other person to make the first move.

Normally, if someone interests me, I will try to initiate some sort of contact... but obviously there may be people who are interested in me I am not aware of who may make the first move, and that does not bother me.

I do not always try to chase after someone though, as I oftentimes just prefer to chat here in the forum and really get to know them better before actually saying anything.

Well, you are a very attractive woman so I almost fail to see how that is even possible.

I have tried both ways, An neither seems to be working. If i initate I feel to bold.An if I don't I seem wimpy. Well at least it seems that way,cause men seem to not care for womwn that are bold an sure of them self.I think it scares them. But I am really beging to think men just want to talk on here not to get to know someone an date.

See, blueyes2000 :) You are so damn beautiful that you're even getting the WOMEN throwing themselves at you. So you should be in no doubt that you aren't short of admirers :P I do intiate the odd time, if I feel attracted to the guy. Otherwise, I usually leave it up to the guy. Though I still blush and go really shy even if I'm the one doing the initiating. I think some men see shy women as boring or something. Not every guy, but you never can tell at times :)
