look at Jeffery Dahlmer for instance He was in Police custody twice and got a way.

After working at the U.S.'s biggest one location jail located in Chicago for over 8 years,(over 10,000 locked up on a daily basis)and having babysat a few serial killers (and 100's of regular (??) murderers when they came back from the joint on their appeals, it SCARES the HELL out of me to see that anyone gives these social cretins credit for anything. I give credit to the guy in Milwaukee's jail that took a mop-wringer to Dahmer's head,and saved the world his presence any longer. I worked with Deputies that had custody of Gacy,and Richard Speck,and many others that got to sit and spend decent peoples tax money for at least 10 extra years after they were both convicted and sentenced to death.

BTW, Chicago was where the most prolific serial killer in America was located,and no,it wasn't Gacy. Herman Mudgett was a killer back during the time of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, and it's estimated(due to the amount of bones found,and the amount of missing person reports) that he killed over 200 people in the span of about 5 years. That's about one kill every 7-10 days. He had a building on the near-south side of the city, and had false walls all over the building. He also had a slide for the bodies to fall into a pit in the basement for easier disposal.

REDDRAGON, I agree with you about the higher intelligence part, but disagreed with someone else about giving them credit. On average,due to many studies,a serial killers IQ is around 150,which is about 20 pts higher than average. Scary, ain't it?
An average cops(which I was) IQ is about 2 pts higher than average.

what ever Judge put in in a prison that left him go in to general population did the tax payers a favour.

well we had a seriel killer here in Mass, late 80's early 90's, they were finding prostitutes murdered on the side of the highway, a highway I drive all the time. If you want to google it, try new bedford highway killings or something like that, the highway was Interstate 195, and I think they somehow linked this to the Green River killings if I remember correctly

As I mentioned in one of My earlier posts for some god forsaken reason we up here in the northwest have some of the most notorious serial killers in history near the Seattle and Vancouver Areas...even Bunday was coming up to Canada a few times...

You think it might have anything to do with the huge amount of cloudy/rainy days you folks seem to have there? I heard,but don't know if it's correct or not that you have about 180-200 cloudy days a year. Here in the midwest,we have about 80-100 a year..

We have on on trial right now for killing prostitutes in B.C....He is charged with 6 or 7 deaths, but there ended up being about 70 women missing that they are trying to link him with over the years. He strangled them and fed their remains to his pigs...That's why they have had such a hard time finding remains to link him to others!!!!!!!!!!!!
