What browser do you use? Which one works best for you? I've been having a lot of problems with mine( I have Chrome and IE), and with Chrome,I've been having some loading issues, and on IE, only facebook will load. I've gotten a few 'oh snap' messages when I'm on Chrome, and I've checked everything from my firewall to a system repair. I have no idea what else to check?

I use a combination of all three browsers
i sue chrome as my default and IE and Firefox as back up
Firefox has lots of good pluggins to stop unwanted add and some other good security protection.

I would recommend a full system virus scan and another scan for spyware/malaware.

Here is a list of web-browsers...some people do not commonly use but are considered good quality (per my web-design classes) .. I have used them and the fastest is is most likely chrome but it is difficult to say for sure honestly... I have used them all though

If the problem is your web-browser any of these should fix it...

Opera
http://www.opera.com/

Apple Safari (usually comes with a Macintosh OS)
http://www.apple.com/safari/

Google Chrome
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_chrome.asp

Mozilla FireFox
http://mozilla-firefox.todownload.com/?gclid=CIKehrft9bACFQxshwodNEi_jg

Also do you still have the install disk for your operating system??? You may have picked up a bug and often it is easy to just re-install, a clean install or restore your system.. rather then trying to fix software.. that takes a programmer :)

I'll check Opera and Safari,I've not heard of those 2, I have Chrome and FireFox already, I normally use Chrome as my main browser, but it's the one I'm having the most trouble with

IE is the worse browse, not only is it the most vulnerable to security exploits, it's non-standard.

I never used Chrome, so don't know much about it, and really don't care to.

I use FireFox. Never had any trouble with it.

Opera mini is good on phones. Never used the desktop version though, I suppose it would be good, considering how well it does on mobile.

I bet it's the Chrome browser that is the issue though. It's still fairly new.

I would switch to FireFox.

Go ahead and play with the others and see which one is best for you, but I have a feeling you'll go to FireFox after you try the rest. Well, you may fall in love with Opera also.

So, I bet you stick with Opera or FireFox. :)

I am studying network programming currently and one of my books mentioned Opera. Gave it some praise. Cannot remember for the life of me what it was... but it was a good reason to switch to it. Safari on the other hand same deal... made by Apple ..comes standard with Macintosh operating systems.

Really to fix the problem from the root... you may want to consider a system restore, re-installation or a clean installation to permanently fix the problem... very difficult to fix software issues any other way unless it is a missing file or something like that. Even in those cases.... a fresh installation usually fixes it just as well if not better...might be missing some of your newer programs though... so back-up your porn.

I almost always use Firefox and rarely have any problems. Occasionally, I will use Chrome or IE if I need to for some reason.

thanks guys! I am trying firefox this morning,to see how it works. I already had it,I just never used it. I couldn't get IE to work for me at all yesterday, and I hate it now, lol. I used Chrome as my main one, and I'm going to check out Opera too. I'm thinking it's Chrome too now, that's the problem.

You can uninstall IE by going to you control panel>Programs>Turn Windows features on or off and unchecking the Internet Explorer box.

You can also uninstall any other browsers you don't use, by either using the uninstall program that comes with it (recommend) or in Control Panel>Programs. It just helps to keep your computer clean and save space for the stuff you actually use is all.

After years of suffering under IE, I have been using Mozilla's Firefox for the last half year. No problems on my end. happy

girl, i have been using chrome for quite some time now, and i never had a problem until today. oh snap error came up and then an error that wouldn't allow my home page to show. i ended up deleting chrome and reinstalling. lost my cool harley davidson theme page, but it seems to be working ok. the ad blocker plus has always blocked the pop ups on mingle, but the first time i opened mingle community page one did show on the bottom right hand corner

i found this fix

go to start
go to run
type in %userprofile%
click ok
go to tools (drop down menu)
click on folder options
click on view
click on show hidden files and folders
click ok
open folder titled local settings
open folder titled application data
open folder titled google
open folder titled chrome
delete file titled user data
go to tools (drop down menu)
click on folder options
click on view
click on do not show hidden files and folders
click ok

this will clear chrome and you will have to pick a theme, etc. but the error will be gone
