I will post this also in the Music forum, it's so interesting.

Everyone knows that dogs, cats, elephants, even some crocodiles are known to like music. Apes do, big time.

It turns out that music appreciation happens in almost all, if not really all, plants and animals. Take this news, for instance. It may be old news to you, but it is new news for me:


"Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria count in your ear by 700 times."


This to me says that some bacteria like music, and they increase the multiplying and dividing rates of their asexual cell-division to produce larger numbers of offspring. In other words, if increased blood alcohol level and music makes men and women more likely to screw, then music alone makes (some species?) of bacteria also more likely to do the same thing in their own way.
