I used to use it a lot but not much anymore. Use Skype now to chat.

Alot of us still use it. But alot of scammers do to,of course they will use anything.

Every time I log onto YM I get dozens of scammers so I stay off of it now.

Just block the scammers. Instant messaging works for me.

I use it when I have reason to. Not so much these days.
