...would you wait to actually hear someone's voice/meet them? After talking for awhile and them telling you how much they care about you and all that jazz... but yet don't even know how they sound. Opinions?

I usually talk right away. People hide behind emails too easily. You present a tough question. Did you even ask for a number?

We exchanged numbers. She never calls and when i tried no one answered and/or it says the phone is out of service.

Then she's probably too shy or just not serious about meeting up. You've made the effort, but she's not reciprocating. I'd suggest moving on...but I really don't know your entire situation. Good luck!

I tried asking to meet, and everytime she says "I don't know" and then later it's a "no". Like I waited at my computer the whole day waiting for the answer... She told me she's shy and nervous, but so am I but I'm willing to give it a shot...

Wow, that's great! I will have to live vicariously through you then! :-) I just joined a couple of days ago. I'm not sure what I think of JSH yet, although I do like the community forums. I do wish you luck! Things will work out the way they are supposed to. I truly believe that!

how long to wait? I think it depends on the person.. I have been talkin to someone for a few days now through e-mail but they have been long e-mails.. I think i'd rather chat on IM first before on the phone.. and definatly on the phone before meeting in person.. but not sure how long.. just trust your gut instincts if something doesn't feel right trust it
