I am new to this online dating thing. I am a single father that has very little time to meet new people. Does this actually work? Do legitimate relationships develop from this? I tried another site, but got alot of women looking for one nite stands. Dont get me wrong, as a man I feel flattered by the invitations, but I want someone to take home to momma. Or more importantly, my daughter. On that other site, it seemed like if you were a nice guy, it scared them off. Any tips for me? Dont worry, I dont sound like a hornball perv when talking to women so that is definatly not my problem.

Not sure, only tips I can think up is post a lot like people first told me when I join. Also email women you think you like and go from there. This site doesn't work as easy lee as the paid one's from what I can already see.

Hey and welcome!! I think the best way to get to know someone is sit back and watch them....just kind of wait and see how they act when they post in the forums.

Im active again. I found a wonderful woman here but things didnt go so well. I totally respect her. We just were on different schedules and far away from each other. So I am back to see if I can find another great gal.

Hang in there, it works, might not be the first one, but is sure beats hanging out in bars...many of us are not into the bar scene so this is a safer way to get to know people and if nothing else you can make some new friends...everybody needs those too!
