Jealousy is a waste of time and energy--especially in a relationship!

Would admiring be considered jealousy? I think I enjoy that someone else has something I don't to the point that it almost feels like it's mine.

Sorry, darn button!

Oh well I'll use the space since I have it.

Jealousy seems like a negative word to me unless it's used in fun of course. But, it is important I think that we can be happy for others. For some reason I have always found jealousy and gossip to be closely related. Some people burn in these two words and their effect is consuming.

I think personally it is really cool when people achieve a goal/need/want if it is born out of true/pure passion. This week I talked with 3 couples giving it a go and in all cases my input was go for it and spend time looking at and for the good and not much in looking at the bad. Sometimes bad isn't bad at all, it's different. Ever notice how when two people break up many times they or one of them races to paint a picture of the other. Oh, they are a terrible person. Well, sorry but that's about as immature as it gets. We all have the ability and responsibility to up lift each other. Not only are there two sides to every story, but there is something good about good things happening to people.

It really shows who you are if you can hope the best for a person instead of being jealous over who they are or what they have. Sharing in their joy or the possibility of joy is the sign of security in ones self. This positive attitude also in a way allows you to take ownership in the happiness for the sake of happiness.

and happiness is a treasure that only we can throw away

There are three men in history, of whom and of whose assets or attributes I was always jealous:

1. Moses
2. Mick Jagger
3. Thomas Edison.

There were other people whose assets or attributes I never coveted, although they have my utmost admiration:

1. The Beatles (all four together, not individually)
2. Istvan Bernolak
3. Mark Twain and Istvan Fekete, Frigyes Karinthy and Jerome K. Jerome, Gyorgy Moldova and Stephen Leacock, Andras Szemeredy and Woody Allen.
