Looking for direction in what I should do next. Been single almost four years. Seems like I'm in a holding pattern for some reason in many ways...is that enough to go on... Advice from the six of cups: While you may find solace in thinking of the past, remember that the present moment is in need of a designer. Your life is a blank canvas and you are in a holding pattern because you have not decided what to paint on it. There it sits waiting for the artist to design a future. Wow, pretty cool and it seems to resinate with my head n heart...pun intended. I find that I learn quickly, especially from my experiences and others mistakes, somehow my past grounds me knowing i have come a long way. I have always been really good at being responsible and taking care of family/business etc... I have always been more action and not just words, as I don't make promises I can't keep. I have been thinking about many possibilities but haven't made a decision on anything...Kinda just trying to enjoy my freedom, living more simple and without huge commitments. like owning property, extra freelance work or music endeavors. I have done well in these areas before but for now I have chosen and created a simple life to figure out whats next and keep my options open since my "renewal" I usually always do whats right, but do have some rebellion for red tape and bs. Time for some thinking, but a few things do come to mind. Thanks so much. |

The Empress was created with a painting by Vladimir Makovsky. It is a portrait of a real empress, Maria Fyodorovna.
She was altered with a different background and made to be pregnant.

Stay clear of cults or other groups that prey on those most in need of company or spiritual comfort. This may be in your recent past or in process currently. Six of wands Open your eyes wide and be alert because the woman of your dreams is not far away. If you recognize her, you can win her. She will have a deep understanding of you, but know when to keep your own council and when to speak up. You must yourself go deeper into who you are and let that part of you blossom. You would love to get closer to someone but your lack of trust keeps her at a distance. Insincere small talk will stall relationships. Be open and don't hide your true feelings. Don't beat around the bush or play games. Go after what you want. Ten of Wands:You are burned out with the singles routine, tired of the dating routine, tired of constant disagreements. Step back and take stock, decide what you can live with and what you can't abide. Then move forward with intention.

My life is in complete upheaval, right now, and I am looking for some guidance to help sort things out. Decisions decisions. Are you going to make them or will they be made for you? That is what you have to decide first. You are distracted by family affairs in all directions. Realize that you are responsible for your own life and ask yourself what YOU want. These are all day to day things and the upheaval is not showing any major arcana, except the hierophant and he is reversed which means that traditions are out the window or changing. Its just day to day chaos. The cause is how people react to things and some over react. They create the drama. The worry you are experiencing is self created. It is not as bad as it seems. Let go of it because so much of what is going on is out of yours hands anyway. Narrow your focus to your own personal needs. You are not the manager of the rest of it. At family events just enjoy, don't set up an office to deal with everyone else and their problems. Gently give it back to them by asking them what they intend to do about it. When the call comes, excuse yourself and get on your horse and leave behind that which does not benefit you and your own growth. Don't look back or worry. It's a good thing I wasn't eating while I read your response, or I would be choking on my food!!!  This is SO accurate. Truly. I will be able to use this information to help ground me, for sure.
I often do readings for myself, but the clarity doesn't always come for that same reason. Takes someone completely outside the situation to speak truth.
