      That people feel the need to belong to a specific religious group?  If they were serious in what they believe in, would it not make sense to just practice their respective religious beliefs on their own?    | |

      Humans are herd animals.  90% of humans want to fit in with others and will willingly follow what someone more charismatic and a leader, because it's easier than thinking and doing for oneself.

| Humans are herd animals. 90% of humans want to fit in with others and will willingly follow what someone more charismatic and a leader, because it's easier than thinking and doing for oneself. Yes, most people do this. Some choose a religion that is closest to their beliefs, even if they don't believe everything taught in the specific religion, to have a group of folks to fellowship with. I have participated in just as many Pagan rituals as I have Catholic Masses to be with other people who were like minded. | |
