Just wondering if Ki is still reading her thread or is busy breaking up with the "unconvertable man"?

I thought the bible had a story about women being married outside of their faith. The way I remember it, the ladies were told to live a good christian life and let their husbands worship their own god. And any conversion would be done by example not by prodding.

Okay Oasis, in response to your Devil's advocate stance. Yeah, I believe Jesus did say go out and preach the word. I believe he also said, if they choose to ridicule you and not accept the word or appear to be becoming violent towards you, shake the dust from your feet and move on.

The very thought of "You believe what I believe or I'm gone" makes me sick. It sounds soooooooo much like blackmail, and you can't blackmail somebody into a certain belief. He might pretend to because he wants to keep you, but.........

You can't really "ease" a person into Christianity (or any other faith, for that matter). Basically all we can really do is be salt and light and show our faith through the way we live our own life. In the mean time, keep praying for him and then be honest with yourself. Can you really be 'ok' yoked to an unbeliever? Trust God to show you what to do about it. Have patience and continue to wait on the Lord. In the mean time, I'll be praying for the two of you! :-) |

i just hope the hormones that are ruling his brain.....have not reached his life preservation instinct....

I would ask myself what kind of qualities does he have that drew u to him. Was it hormones or character? If character then isn't he not genually have your faith ingrained in him? Many say they are this or that. Yet many are true disciples because of thier makeup/personality. If you love him for the way he is then just love him and Yahweh will do the rest. yeah im with lex.. thats all bull****. if you love your imaginary god more then a living being.. you have freaking problems and should see a shrink. you dont deserve someone when you cant give them all of your heart. phuck your god. and dont put him in front of the man you love. cus god will never do anything for you like a man can
