Any experience a failure if you learn from it?

No, it's only a failure if you don't try, you quit, or you don't learn.

It takes courage to fail Tea...Failure provides an opportunity to learn, to grow, to develope into a better person...All of these things are, or should be, an ongoing process throughout a persons entire life...
Failure does not define you, it is only an outcome...View it as an opportunity to start over...

I'm often caught trying to do the impossible, and often, my language of machining is improved as a result. While the original goals are not always successful, in the end, each improvement is a stepping stone to the next. I never have to buy a gear again.

The original experiment was a failure for its original goal.
