Can relate to your situation and feelings .Spent my whole early life wondering who I looked like and when I finally found out she had passed away a couple years earlier. Waited forty six years to find my Dad then it turns out I was to be his caregiver for a decade. Sometimes life jeals you lemons and you just have to make whaterver lemonaid you can.
As polly anna as that sounds I am really sorry that things went down like it did for you.. What I know of you you are a nice guy who I would wish something different for.
If it is any comfort for you someone told me that we would all be surprised how closely related we all are. That many of the things that make us what we are exist in a lot of people and that can be the tie we are looking for.
Might be why so many people love to do all the geneology stuff. Somewhere down the line we are "cousins". however many times removed.
So go ahead and have a good cry that you are not hanging out with your closer relatives. You have every right to feel how you do.
Then look through this thread now and then and see who loves you in your Mingle family and turn to any one or all of us when you are feeling lonesome. HUGS.
