Hi,
I've had mice, hamsters, and rats as pets. Rats are my favorite, since they're bigger and more mellow then mice. Plus more playful. And rarely bite, unlike hamsters. I'm rodent free right now, but kept the cages, since I'll probably have them again in the future. Use photobucket or flicker and copy the link into the message. |

I used to have mice, they were fun. Gotta keep the boys and girls apart, though, unless you have endless room.
For some reason hamsters and guinea pigs never appealed to me. |

Serious Gerbil Guy here, worked as manager of both of the Big-Box Pet stores. Gerbils smell hthe least. If trained and handled make great pets. Research first, find a good rescue. Westland Humane Society has them often. They stay up when you are around. When you interact with them. Happy Gerbil Hunting. Scott

I had a mouse and a rat and a cat...don't leave them in the room together ;)
Rats are very smart and you can teach them a lot of neat tricks. |
