This news is just about a month old, but still unbelievably intriguing. It would seem that in mid-March the solar winds reversed, as observed by our magnetospere reversing itself. Now, for all you Planet X, Nibiru, brown dwarf believers, this actually fits somewhat nicely into your viewpoint of the universe. For those of you not prone to this belief, it certainly does raise a tremendous mystery.

To me, the really fascinating thing is why the data seems to have been scrubbed from the entire data-set of the world! Literally, the world's observing stations and publicly viewable scientific sites have all seemed to delete this event from their servers. Why? This could have been explained and pondered within acceptable scientific circles, such as a particularly close gamma ray burst, etc. But no, it was scrubbed. Whenever something is cleansed, one must become intrigued and wonder...why?

there is some images from HAARP showing a massive spike on the 12th of march too...

The solar winds can't reverse themselves as there is no available force to turn them around.

Last month was a period of huge solar activity. There were people in the Northern US taking fantastic shots of the Northern Lights as our magnetosphere sucked in solar wind at the poles.

The odds that we got hits from a gamma ray burst are slim since all the satellites and ground stations used for that purpose reported nothing. Plus the fact that it would have been a hell of a coincidence.

What may have happened is that the very sensitive instruments that measured the solar wind were somewhat overwhelmed by the transitions in data and produced abnormal images. Keep in mind that the colorization of the pressures can show "relative changes" in pressure as well as actual pressure. Actual pressure in space is a very hard item to determine using high speed particles as the medium.

There was a lot of concern that the mass ejections would knock out large sections of Earth's power grid.

something happened, not sure what tho... i read some other reports of a massive CME around that time also...

The same mass ejections that were so concerning to the power grid were hitting the satellites that took those images. If the CMEs are gonna screw up cell phones, power grids, and satellites, they probably wreaked havoc on the satellite image sensors that took the abnormal images.

CMEs and solar wind are basically the same thing. A CME is just a much bigger version of it.

I don't know but I'm putting my foil helmet back on.
