I notice a slight burning smell when my nose goes past where my fan is.. i think it might just be the dust in my comp getting heated up. everything inside is running fine. I was wondering if that is what i can be smelling cause i notice i smell this to when my nose is to close to the vents on my tv

Could be something to do with your nose hairs getting singed, from being to close to the heat source. But then, that's only a guess.bigsmile

It could be the accumulated dust on your computer. Have you tried vacuuming with a brush on and around it?

Try blowing on the fan to get the dust out.

And you said your pc is old, but what is old ?. Like is it still running that Windows 95 or what.

I say if it's pass or near six or seven years old, and all your best bet is instead of buying more crap for it, is to take what you can out of some money and look for a new pc altogther.

Just a thought.
