Romney supporters busted for passing out phony slate of delegates at state GOP convention Posted by RayHagar at 5/5/2012 11:08 AM PDT on rgj.com The most interesting thing that happened in the first hours of the Nevada State Republican Convention was that some folks in the Romney camp wore Ron Paul t-shirts and tried to distribute a phony slate of candidates for Nevada's delegation to the national convention. The list included some Paul supporters but hidden among the Paul supporters were obvious Romney supporters like Patty Cafferata, Mendy Elliott and Lucinda “Cindy” Nixon. The Romney camp was busted when a Ron Paul supporter grabbed the microphone and warned the convention floor of the bogus slate. Some of the people who were handing out the phony slate were detained by security officers. “A couple of people have been detained outside and they were wearing Ron Paul gear, even though they were not part of our campaign,” said Rachel Stephens, a Paul campaign spokeswoman from Las Vegas. “I don’t care if Mitt Romney wins legitimately but I would have a problem if he wins because he has fake ballots to misinform voters.” Fake slate presented... http://imgur.com/uPoh6 |

Same occurance at the Maine convention caught on video! If you can't trust Robme to run a fair and principaled election program, how can you trust he will do anything differently in the office of POTUS? Romney had nothing to do with this, just a few of his supporters who don't know how this process works and is buying into the Paultards propaganda that Ron Paul actually has a chance at winning.

My how little you care to know. It amazes me! The RNC sent a political hitman to each convention under direction of RNC counsel John R. Phillippe Jr., and while this is only the one incident that occured with their presense there, there were many! It made the convention take about three times as long as it needed to, without changing the results. But as noticed, the rank and file Romney delegates were not the source of the mayhem and would have been more than happy to have resigned themselves to the inevitable. Its their "leaders" (the RNC old guard, fearing the loss of their power) that insist on acting like a horse's patootie. |
