I went to a county fair the other night. I was shocked and disappointed to see that there was no Ferris Wheel. Also, no Midway "Barkers" like there were when I was a kid. OK, I know that dinosaurs were roaming the earth at that time, but still! That was half the fun being sucked into some guy guessing your weight, job, etc. And the fair food was horrible!!! PLUS, just to let you know the grand scale of this particular fair, first prize flower in that particular exibit was placed in an old, plastic AquaFina bottle....now that took a lot of imagination!

Bummer

I was at one last weekend, in Midlothian, IL, and they still had the Ferris Wheel! It was right next to something called the Zipper, which is a sort of smaller, enclosed cpasule kind of Ferris Wheel with emotional problems.

hel yeah, I remember the Zipper, that thing rules!

Hey...I had BIG plans for that Ferris Wheel, should it have been there. And yeah, the Zipper was there...but it was a little too much after the gross fair food... giggle...
