Wal-Mart vs Morons

1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.

2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.

8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans, Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!

To all 535 voting members of the Legislature we say....

It is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons because:

a.. The U.S.Postal Service was established in 1775. They have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.

b.. Social Security was established in 1935. They have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.

c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. They have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.

d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. They have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.

e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. They have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.

f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. They have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. They had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

They have FAILED in every "government service" they have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND THEY WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE THEY CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM?

NOT!

Your exactly right we need someone like Mitt Romney who has run and restructured large businesses and made them successful. I currently work for a large nationwide company that Bain Capitol owns and has owned for years and it is one of the few retail companies that are opening new stores and turning major profits right now.

That is one of the reasons why I have decided to support Mitt.

BTW Romney came up with the model that Wal-Mart and most successful retailers now use. Just sayin'.

That is according to Economist Steven Kaplan.

Robme has to put cotton in one ear to hold a thought long enough to change it....

He's not a leader, he's a salesman! As president, he would just have a larger number of workers to displace as he sold America out from under us!

Well your real options are Romney or Obama. Choose your lesser evil.

I feel you liking Ron Paul. He is who I prefer as well but I said real candidates. Let's face it, he can't win the presidency. I wish he could but he can't. Though we are getting closer to having a 3 rd party making a real run. I live in a swing state this year so I can't afford to vote for Dr Paul if I don't want Obama in office

Yes, I voted Libertarian last time. RP would be great but it ain't gonna happen. I have to focus on removing Obama. He is our biggest threat now. Sorry.

If everyone with you point of view voted for Ron Paul then there would not be a problem, again I decide who to vote I don't let the media do it. I do not throw my votes away and voting against Obama (checking the box with romney's name) would be throwing it away.

If he had more supporters he would have done better in the primaries. I don't think a third party can ever win if we don't use a populous vote. Apples to oranges, you say voting for the person I would rather win of the 2 that have a chance is throwing my vote away. I say voting on the person that has no chance is throwing your vote away. If I lived in a totally red or blue state I would just vote for paul. Since I live in a purple state I will vote for Romney.

I agree with you moe on a certain level. The "mom and pop" groceries, small local chains, still exist in rural areas, but the large retail stores like Walmart do keep prices down.... that is good for us.

However, Walmart has corporatised, become political, abuses it's employees, and followed all the dastardly policies of its forerunner corps now it has taken on shareholders, the stock market, and the under belly of the political system.

Shame, but inevitable in this society! The "mom and pops" can NEVER COMPETE with the demands of the ever INCREASING GROWTH of commutities, and peoples over indulgence.

Wal-Mart was a mom and pop..... with a vision.... by Sam Walton.... like Disneyland
