Don't you just love those little things in life that make you feel happy? For instance......... the smell of clean sheets on the bed....eating a fresh, ripe, suculent tomato right out of the garden.....or waking up seeing the sun shine and the birds chirping......., drinking your favorite coffee on the back porch with a breeze slightly blowing the smell of fresh flowers.......having your child give you a bear hug and him telling you "I love you mommy!" I think we tend to forget these little things........so stop and smell the coffee, peopole!

I enjoy the little things in life. Fortunately for me they have growned up and left the nest. While at the local barber shop I was wondering what happened to the barber shop quartets and why I never hear of an all female barber shop quartet. I guess to be fair she a lot of ladies go to salon they might be called salon quartets but I guess it just doesn't have the same ring to it. I was inquiring about an used tiller at the barber shop but my barber that I ususally go to while cutting someone's else hair replied that they don't carry anything that has anything to do with manual labor. I was wondering if anybody else feels like they are at a volleyball game and while they are trying to just tap the ball back across the net someone else behind them is trying to spike it to the other side.

Hey Hillfold........I was in the first girls barbershop quartet at my high school in 196???? I loved it and we had a blast!

Just to be able to breathe and see...any of the 5 senses. Never to take anything for granted because there are those who are disabled or have some who have terminally ill diseases. I always try to stay thankful.

Hillfolk......no.......I was also the first girl tenor at my highschool! I have a wide vocal range...just better at hitting the low notes. Lol!!
