Mine was in 1979. I was 4 yrs old. One of my earliest memories. My mom took me to see Ridley Scott's "Alien". Scared the sh&t outta me. Also probably desensitized me to horror films. Haha.

I'm not sure we went every weekend. It was either "Star Wars","Jaws", or "Young Frankenstein". I think it was "Star Wars"

I dont remember my first film, but one of my favorites is The Sound of Music, my favorite. Play is Carousel, my aunt played in it when she was in high school

I have no idea, but it was probably a Disney movie. I remember vague moments from "Oklahoma" where I was wishing the damn corny thing would end.

I can't believe a parent would take a 4-year-old to see Alien. That movie horrified ME and I was over 30 at the time.

I grew up on horror films(thanks to my dad and older sisters)...I was equally terrified by horror and Disney.

I honestly don't remember. Probably some Disney movie.

I do remember bugging my Dad to take me to Jurassic Park when I was eleven. I loved that movie

I dont remember for sure but... it might have been "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"...I remember being so excited about going ... and later that evening jumping around on my mums bed pretending we were flying and my littlebrother fell off and rammed his head on a dresser...first time he got stitches...yes very memorable that day.

Yep. I thought "Bambi" was far more disturbing than "Alien".

Gotta be The Neverending Story...even though I was born the year it came out...one of the first I saw, I think I was 5.

My oldest sister took me to see that when it came out.

Jaws 2. And it was at the drive-in theater. Oh man. I miss the drive in. I was five and I remember thinking how scary the damn shark was. Lol. And when he got fried at the end, I was like "wicked". Soon after that, I would see the movie that changed my life....Star Wars. I was addicted to films from that moment on.

I miss drive-ins. I can remember sitting in the backseat of the family car wearing pjs, being frightened by films like Invasion Of The Body Snatchers '78, The Manitou. We also saw Song Of The South. The last film I remember seeing at the drive-in as a kid was when my dad took me to see Used Cars with Kurt Russell.

I can still vividly recall standing in line with my parents in 1977 to see Star Wars. From then on everything was Star Wars, hearing John Williams' theme playing on the radio. The smell of new SW action figures. Watching The Star Wars Holiday Special when it aired- back then I didn't notice a cheesy cornball show...all I saw were Star Wars characters on TV.
