Ok ladies. I'm not insecure & I don't consider myself bad looking. I need some feedback here please. I'm not having any luck finding a date. Is it my profile? My pics?

Your honesty is appreciated. Don't worry. I can take it. Don't hold back or sugarcoat anything.

Thanks.

First thing, never re-vamp your profile, or any thing for that matter. OK.

Knew a man one time. He re-vamped something and was never heard from again. No one knew his name. Sad.

Actually, it's pretty good. I like it.

The only thing I would remove is the picture of you pointing the gun at the camera. The other shooting pic is cool. But, right at the camera is a little scary.

Are you having trouble finding a date on here? Or anywhere?

I would get rid of the picture of you smoking, or at least not make it your main picture. Put up one where we can see what you actually look like.

Thanks. I actually considered doing that earlier.

I'd take out the part where it says From Justin To Kelly is your favorite movie.

OK. Most of your replies have been from men, and I don't think they're getting it. I know I'm old, but I think my reactions are fairly normal for any woman. Your photos make you seem challenging. Your actual profile is a lot better, but still has some things in it. The biggest thing that jumped out at me was you would "quit smoking for the right woman." You don't want a woman who wants to change you. Either say that you really want to quit, or take it out. If a woman demands you quit smoking for her, next she's going to be telling you what to wear.

Now the photos. I love dogs too, but three pictures of your dog is way too many. Have one picture of YOU WITH the dog and no more; and take a new one where you're minus the beer and not falling off the chair. The pictures of you with another woman, the flying pig, and the three guys in red shirts aren't doing you any good. The picture with your shirttail hanging out makes you look sloppy. I'd get rid of all of those, and also the one where all you can see is the cellphone. And about the hair. You look MUCH better with short hair. If you have to have it long like that, put it in a ponytail. If you're growing it really long like Krupa, then ask Krupa what to do with it. Long hair isn't right for everybody.

That's all just my opinion, but at least it comes from someone of the opposite sex. Just think of it this way: you want photos that make a woman say, "Whoa, now that's a cool guy!" Notice the exclamation mark? Your photos are capturing the laid-back part of you (except for the gun, which I don't think is going to turn on many women), but they're not showing your pride in yourself. You want them all to be as good as the one head shot of you without glasses. That makes you look really cute.

Good luck!

Okay here ya go.........I like your profile its to me this is who I am. This is what I like and shooting guns is part of that. (I like shooting guns myself) Yeah maybe some will find it a turn off, but put it this way some won't. There are women out there that hunt, shoot targets, and utilize weaponry for all sorts of reasons. Aren't we all looking for commonalities and enjoyable hobbies, music, and interests to share. For me, taking that picture away is like saying, yeah I will cave for general consensus and conform.

It's all about what you like, what you are looking for, and let's face it.......if you aren't catching the girl here......she may not be here yet......but when she jois or finds you here, another site, or the real world.....the reaction strikes a mighty impact in the world of film freek and the adored.

I don't agree. I think more pictures of the dogs and just a small one of you works better. Don't listen to her. shades

Thank you for your feedback. What I meant by the smoking statement was takin out of context I guess. I wasn't trying to come across as a push over, I was simply trying to state that if I met the right girl, and she wanted me to quit (which I've been thinking about doing anyway), then I would be willing to for her. But yeah...you may be right. maybe I should just change it to "I'm a smoker, but I'm trying to quit."

As for the feedback on the pics. I don't really have a whole lot to choose from, and I don't consider myself to be very photogenic. The ones with the longer hair are half-a**ed attempts taken within the last few days (also shot by yours truly). The other ones are just stuff that I've had on my computer for a while (not sure if you notice the weight loss). And I put up more than one of my dog to emphasize how a big part of my life she is (which seemed to be a problem with my last relationship. Don't understand how someone can be jealous of a dog...but, yeah). But...I will take your advice and find someone to take some nicer pics & weed out some of the others.

Now about the hair. I've had mixed reviews. It seems a lot of the younger girls like the long hair & the older ones like it short. Me, personally...I prefer it short (mainly for low maintenance & comfort), but I figured I would try something different for a change.

Thanks again for your insight & honesty. It is much appreciated. flowerforyou
