Topic: Is mankind still evolving equally as a whole person?

I believe the universe is billions + years old thus the creation theory to me does not fit into my belief system. The discoveries of Hubbles Space Telescope (google it) confirms by facts.

I believe more so in the Evolution theory however, and then would not mankind be still evolving equally as a whole person - Physically? Intellectually? Socially? Mentally? Spiritually?

If in parts ... what do you percieve mankind to look like in a thousand years time? Can you form a picture based on what is happening today?

The direction humankind seems to be going, whether it evolution or creative energy, is towards a healthier more aware, entity with a body that will live longer, maybe a thousand year life span. I think we will discover the subtle bodies (the soul) and it will be able to move in and out of the physical body at will, and travel across the universe and enter a waiting body at its destination.

The body, I believe, is a vehicle for the human consciousness.

There is a futurist named Ray Kurzweil who has some interesting theories. He created a book reader for blind people back in the day and became good friends with Stevie Wonder as a result. lol. He predicted the rise of the internet well before its time.
At any rate, he points to something called the "Singularity" that will be the future of mankind. He says technology is growing at an exponential rate and soon we will need to merge with machines just to keep up with this fast paced environment. Due to his fear of death he has spent a lot of time and money trying to find the cure for aging. He's a very rich man...I hope he succeeds. hehe.
I am not sure if I completely agree with his theories but he's a fascinating character. I suppose he proposes one possible future for us.

I have perceived such things but did not know where all is at. Incredible are the days we are living in!

Thank you very much for your sharing. I will have to check out this author, his book ... interesting too, this man's thoughts or writings connects with a utube CreativeSoul provided.

Check out the utube CreativeSoul linked in his response in this topic. It is fascinating! I notice in our current living days, there are more theories than ever combined due to the advancement of technology.

I like your thoughts JeannieBean, thank you. It be would wonderful to be able to astrotravel or bilocate. Just had a flashback of an episode from Star Track where Kirk says, "beam me up Scotty" but then Kirk goes up mind, "body" and soul.

You never know. I often wonder about the soul hoping science to prove it for, as it stands regarded by some as skeptical while others, claim its position of part of the human being and write about it.

(It's "astral travel.")

I believe that there is such a container as the "soul." I certainly hope it is true anyway. If it does exist, science will one day "discover" it.

Whether it can exist after the death of the body, is most people's question. If it can, and if it exists, I think it would be awesome when science can manufacture bodies for souls and for souls to be able to transfer from one body to another.

Thank you and you are quit right about the spelling. I thought everything looked okay when proofing, must of missed it.

What you see down the road is similiar to another's in this thread and a different way to look at it too, "manufacturing bodies for souls". Thank you again for sharing JeannieBean.
