After last year's dearth of bluebonnets, the news is talking about them coming back this year! Yay! Anybody seeing them yet? Where?

Seen some off of 99 in Sugarland when we were leaving for Kema.

Had a really nice drive in the Chappell Hill/Brenham/Washington area on Friday - nothing so showy that it would be a magazine cover (the solid masses of flowers) but gorgeous, all the same! Ended up the day at A&M having dinner with my oldest friend (as in we've been friends over 40 years)and 2 Chinese exchange students. What a nice treat! I sure love the Texas wildflower season!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time!! Texas is soooo pretty this time of year all the way from Central Texas thru the Hill Country and on down South.
