Topic: Music of another language | |

Anyone else find themselves frequently liking music that's in another language and then wanting to learn some of that language just so you can sing that one song?
This happens a lot with me involving Rammstein songs (German), as well as some of this band called Kultur Shock (Bosnian I believe). The French I learned in high school hasn't been as helpful as I'd have hoped for listening to Malmonde. |

That would be nice. (I actually had gotten "Feuer Frei" memorized from Rammstein before. Felt proud of that... just want to learn "Du Reichst So Gut" now.) |

I like Latin American/Spanish. One of the most played CDs in my car is one I bought in Spain in 1998. It is "Trio Los Panchos y Edie Gormez". Some super love songs on it. Helps that I speak a little Spanish.

I sometimes have found myself listening to foreign songs that seemed catchy at the time that have been mainly from France and sometimes from elsewhere. Slovakia, Mariena by Noisecut. Sloboda by Billy Barman. France, Addictions by Superbus. Avenir (radio edit) by Louane. Keep on dancing by Cats On Trees. Jimmy by Cats on Trees featuring Calogero. Mystère by Nolwen Leroy. Saint Claude (Domenico Torti remix) by Christine & The Queens. |
