A little pressure then release
A lifetime filled with hidden grief
Red river flow of sweet relief

A childhood lost in circumstance
Creates a soul that at first glance
Seems willing to just take the chance
I can hate it’s easy to
But I can’t love the way you do
For my soul has scars of blue

A little pressure then release
A lifetime filled with hidden grief
Red river flow of sweet relief

Relationships are not my game
Most of them just end in pain
My soul would rather hesitate
Until it’s simply much to late
I can think the world of you
But haven’t got a single clue
On how to start a thing so new

A little pressure then release
A lifetime filled with hidden grief
Red river flow of sweet relief

That emptiness felt in a crowd
Speaks to me just oh so loud
When I am alone it brings me down
To that place I’ve known so well
Square and round with oblong to
A simple pile of white and blue
My mind just ponders what to do

A little pressure then release
A lifetime filled with hidden grief
Red river flow of sweet relief

hey dmanjo!! i read all the writes you posted in a row there,
and i really enjoyed them all :) i notice you usually have a
verse repeat which makes them seem lyrical, do you write these
as possible songs? i hope you can put them to music if so!

deep stuff, i like! flowerforyou

I hear them in my mind as songs but don't get the melody more rhythm and timing. Some i just wake up with complete, like Sunday Morning Blues. Sometimes i will wake up with one in my head complete, but get distracted for some reason and forget it just as fast. They almost alway come back later at some point. A Song so Beautiful was one of those. The song referred to in it was the one i forgot when i was distracted. The actual "Song so Beautiful" i woke up with still eludes my recollection.
