I know when you look at my picture I seem to be healthy,thin, and strong,but I need to lose about 15-20 pounds. I am allready eating right and excercising. I keep gaining weight albeit slowly. Is this my muscle? Muscle weighs more than fat. I'm thin,but very muscular.

muscle doesn't weigh more than fat. a pound of feathers is still a whole pound, it's just not as dense as a pound of lead.
Muscle is very lean, unlike fat of course. Sometimes when gaining muscle and losing fat, you will see yourself getting thinner, losing inches but not really losing much weight. |

gee thanks for nothing! Jill is right. If you volumetrically weight muscle and fat, muscle will weight more. In other words, a beaker of fat weighs less than a beaker of muscle. But a pound of fat, weights as much as a pound of muscle. If you want to know your fat vs muscle, they make simple body fat monitors that you can buy for around $25. |

If you are thin, why do you need to lose weight?
Why is your account deactivated? Why are you talking about what your photo looks like when your picture has always shown "Ask me for my photo"? How old are you? As people get older their metabolism changes and it's much easier to put on weight even though you're eating the same amount of food. Ask me how I know . . . |

I gained a lot of weight when I had to stop the gym from my disease. Now I'm back in the gym and slowly losing it again, thankfully.
Also, as you gain years, your muscles will atrophy if you don't exercise so exercise every other day is a must! If you want to look good and be healthy! Only 10 more kg to go! Halfway there! Loving being in gym again. |

Why do you need to lose those 15-20 pounds? Are you looking to achieve a specific body fat percentage by a certain time frame? Do you know what metabolic type you are? Can you define to me what 'eating right' means to you? Can you tell me what macro nutrients (carbohydrates/fats/protein) you're eating everyday? Let's start with your height/weight/body fat percentage and target body fat percentage before we ask any other questions. I'm more than happy to help! :-) Oh and me?
