I need a hat that suits my soul
It’s something I don’t know

I need a hat that suits my mood
Sometimes i am just a little skewed

Perhaps a hat with a cat
So you’ll know I can purr

I cowboy hat I don’t think that
Would suit my urban soul

I baseball cap I think I’d turn
To keep my head from burn

A philosophers hat imagine that
Would set your mind adrift

A poets hat i do know that
Would set my mind adrift
To find some way to lift

I can wear so many hats
There all a part of me
I am not sure which of those hats
Is the one for me

I need a hat that suits my soul
Its something I don't know

I suppose a Jester’s hat
I think we would agree
Would make you smile at me
