I am thinking how much I love living in this apartment complex. The head maintenance guy is Joe and not only does he keep an eye on my kids when they are playing outside, but after fixing my garbage disposal this morning he offers to take out my trash sitting by the door! He says, "I'm going that way anyway." Last week the apartment office assistant carried my daughter all they way from where she had fallen off her bike near the office to my doorstep. The other maintenance guy brought her bike back. I have way more stories like this. I think at some point in the near future I need to buy the staff lunch.

Watching a commercial for Shout Color Catcher washing machine sheets. I mumble to myself, "I gotta get those." My 8 yr. old daughter says, "Moooom! You're believing a commercial? There's no way that sheet can do that." that's what I get for telling them that all commercials are lies.
