There always seems to be all sorts of men from the US on Forums like these. So why is it Canadians shy away? If any of you illusive, well adjusted, older Albertans are out there, pls say 'howdy'.

Good luck with that. Older Albertan men are anything but mature or well adjusted. Besides they only want 25 year olds. I wouldn't waste my time even looking personally.

I am single because I chose a career rather than being stuck as a housewife. I wanted to travel and live my life; not be dependent on any man. I tried the dating scence for 15 years and I stand by my convictions. Way too many game players. Evne the guys my age tell me not to waste my time. Only met one man here in Alberta that was decent and he was married. Figures all the good ones are taken. Guess I can't expect much from the abuse capital of ?Canada. You have a great day too.

I agree with you, 2badracing, that we shouldn't "paint everyone with the same paintbrush". Both genders have their share of good & bad. I've met lots of each. In some ways I'm more disappointed in the women. Too many have taken on such crude behavior. What's with that? .... can't beat 'em so join 'em?

memories4u i just found it rude myself i lost the person dear to my heart :( its just sad when i see people passing judgement on others :( They do not know......i learned that at very young age and all through my life at 46 years old i have a daughter at 22 years of age and to say that im looking for a woman of that age is just so disrespectful to me and any other man that has respect for himself and others. Well myself i was never crude its funny ya know i just took a trip to Ontario and stayed at my ex wifes home yes we are not together and it was my felt but i thought i was only doing what was right for my family by working out of town all my life. ten years later me and my ex wife sit and talk about it. Does that make a bad person ? not to my ex wife it doesnt so being judged on a dating site by someone that doesnt know me kinda hurts to think that they didnt learn it in there life. I guess the best thing to do is look past rudness and move on. It seems some have nothing better to do but its easy to turn a cheek and think where its coming from

I apologize for my statement about Albertan men. It was rude and I shouldn't have said it. I just based it on my own experiences and that was wrong. I am sure Prince Charming will come along and sweep you off your feet. I wish you lots of luck meeting him.

navygirl, I thought you might be voicing your opinion about AB men on your past experiences, & I can understand that. I just felt the need to defend the good guys out there. BTW, I quit believing in Prince Charming & a Knight in Shining Armour while still in my teens. It'd be nice to meet a kind & caring man, tho' .... but I'm not holding my breath.
