I called my Uncle's cell. Great voicemail. Ugh....I don't know what to do. Im afraid of touching it myself. Im gonna try again tomorrow. I really really don't want to contact who fixed it. Probably won't pick up anyway. He's gotta be sooo busy with other clients. Oooo this blows donkey dong. Hope your uncle can help you. May The Force be with you. He's unresponsive. I normally have to catch him when he's around his phone. He doesn't return voicemails usually. I'm gonna have to go with plan B. UGH bummer! c'mere, I'll give ya a hug n' kiss and make it a bit better. I'll feel better when I fix the problem.

Hopefully you get it fixed soon. I'll be getting a new laptop from school here in a few months. If you want, I can sell you this one when I get my new computer. Hopefully you can get your computer fixed by then though.

The problem with that is the money. Right now I can't afford anything so I am saving up like crazy to get the new one I want. Something decent, a bit cheap that works. Not that I think you'll gauge me on the price. Otherwise if I had means to buy I'd get me one right now and this thread would never existed.

Alright, I just had my computer fixed up recently and lately I've been getting weird freezing problems. It can't be the memory, I handled that in heaps since I got it back so it could run faster. Now, when it connects to Wifi it fudges up. Things freeze up like crazy and I am forced to push what I don't wanna push. Ugh, I just had this thing fixed too!! I am not doing anything illegal as far as files and download go. I haven't downloaded or installed anything since its been fixed. Even when I open up Micro. Word to write something it kicks off without even a bubble window letting me know anything. I've had to reboot the phucker a few times just to see wtf the problem was and if I could find out in safe mode. Oooooo, so angry here. Sheesh and all I wanna do is write and do my homework. Computers=666 Do you guys have any suggestions what's wrong with it? Apply all Windows updates. Update the drivers for your laptop. Clean your registry. Let me know if that helps, if not, I can give you more suggestions.

Thought of something like a Toshiba notebook or something like that. They run so well. My neighbor let me use his and it was so smooth. He said he got his for really dirt cheap, that was a few months ago. Something like that would be ideal. Its time to eventually let go of things.

Toshibas are horrible. I never had one I liked, they've always run like sh**. I don't touch them anymore. Don't be fooled by Acer either, they're horrible as well. Getway (Emachine) have been okay with me (older ones from late 90s), but I wouldn't waste money on one. Samsung, HP, Sony, Dell, Alienware (Dell), I haven't had trouble with any of those. Of course customized is the way to go if you have the cash and know how. This is just from my experience with them.

Dell was my second option. I'm too used to them now. This sony has burned me out and at times made me bitter about humanity. Time to try new things. Basically want something that runs smoothly, long battery and has a nice resolution for all my porn viewing. VERY important.

Like I said, my Samsung RV511 has been my best computer so far. Nice 17" screen, fast and smooth, good battery life, not a problem yet.

Sexy...features are nice, decent. Definitely something I'd drool over than the craptop I'm using now. sigh Should I contact the guy who fixed it? I'm in a twist over this...not sure why. Its not like I know him. I don't know anyone actually. I lock myself in a cage when I get home.

Me too, I get home from school, go right to my room and close the door. But, I would contact the guy that was supposed to fix it, he should have fixed it right the first time, if he's supposed to know what he's doing and you paid him. I'm sure you kinda feel like you got ripped off, I would.

Birds of the feather :) I lock my door and jam on Fiona Apple, that's my idea of filling up the rest of the day. Eh, haven't made my mind up yet. I'm sure its nothing he did intentionally. I am a bit of a moron when it comes to this stuff. One wrong step and things mess up. Or rather one wrong click in this sense. I'm not a comp nerd, just a writing one. Eesh, I'll think about it. Who knows? He may not answer, just a guess. We'll see, I'm not sure ripped off matches what I'm feeling right now.

I know what you mean, I'm the same way about things usually. I don't think most people are out to get you. It can be a hit and miss game at times with issues, especially on older things, but still if you brought it in to get fixed, it should be fixed.

I have a feeling this is who I'm dealing with here. The facial hair is dead on. Most nerds are still going through puberty, this is why they never/hardly age. They look really young. I got the same thing here. I guess that's why I'm so into them. They do good work, are laborers. No one gives them enough cred. I wish they made as much as lawyers or doctors, they basically do the same things as a surgeon would. Computer is pretty much a brain droid. I also think it has feelings and picks favorites. Its like the hot blond guy in school I crushed on, always ignoring my attempts. Sheeps.
