A storm is blowing in my soul tonight,
Wildly, madly, hitting hard with the velocity,
the ferocity of a category five,
winds whipping, furies slashing, tossing,
Hurtling hurts and sorrows with the momentum
of a bullet train, memories so long buried,
So arrow sharp, excruciating,
My emotional chaos swirling, funneling,
Channeling dark spirits attempting to reside
In my core, my eye, my quiet place and I
Raise my fist in righteous wrath and denial,
Defending my emotional fortress,
the ocean foam white waves that are me,
crashing, pounding, my angry swells sweeping
across the ocean of impurity that attempts
to wash me out to sea, to lose me,
forever lost in my waves of despair,
my forces gather powerfully, forcefully,
My indignant convictions unleashing a fury so
Overwhelming, powerfully sweeping, washing clean
That which attempts to weaken the vortex of strength
That feeds me,compels me, drives me…..and
I lay waste to the forces which try to lessen me~
As I survey the havoc I have wreaked upon
The demonic plains of desperation, laying flat
barbaric excesses of my pain, my angers,
My spirit calms, flat lining in a sea of tranquility,
and I am once again rested, hypnotic,
waiting for the next hurricane season,
Laying dormant, calm…
...in the eye of my storm…..

Ok...you have been busting my chops since you hopped onto my poem this morning and you clearly dont know what you're talking about, particularly since you have NO idea who I am, nor do you know anything about me. So I'd appreciate you not toss your empty comments on my poems. I wont be responding to you any further. If you dont like what I write, here's a clue. Dont READ it.

Yeah well I liked your poem. In the darkness of one's heart and soul are battles to be waged between desperation and hope, the desires that drive us and obstacles that block. More often than not the driving forces and obstacles are human issues, friends, lovers and adversaries that we encounter in our lives, leading us into conflict with our own desires and abilities. Not knowing the hearts and minds of others, we can not know where we stand in gaining our own desire.

My simple words do not express the intensity of these conflicts. Your words do and I like reading them.
