Topic: random writing short poem

I sit lost in the abyss dark and cold, memories of you fading, stories never told heartbeats tainted no longer strong and bold. pain and pity hand in hand together I hoped we'd take our final stand, now laying here alone my faith be damned, no golden gates no promised land. All we have and all we lose how we go we can not choose, on you're death bed you'll find this true just hope there's someone there with you.

Thank you I will write something with more effort shortly. I dd not really feel that one fully and I rushed it simply to post it to see if anyone would enjoy my style.

Most writers are their own worse critic. I know i am but you will find alot of support in this forum their are so many talented people here who express themselves in various ways. Keep posting.
