Sex does NOT have to be assumed as part of a date.

Yes it does...... Or else I can just take out my sister for dinner, drinks and dancing.

I ain't gonna go on a date with my sister but.....beyond that...the "crack of dawn" aint safe.

Any date, even a first date? So you'd consider it a failure if you went home alone without your n**kie?

Nope! I just feel that much more confident cause every woman is not the right one.

Coming home without bagging the wrong one is worth points too.

You already know my feelings on this....

Got $20 that says you will be crying over this in less than a year....

Is it a "Date"?

You tell us.

A "Date"...bears the possibility of sex. If there is no possibility of sex...you are just hanging out.

You going on a date or are you going to hang out with a friend?

"Hang out" to me means that the two of you just happened to be in the same place at the same time, no planning. Standing around on the street corner throwing snowballs at cars kind of stuff. Kid stuff, honestly. What the OP is describing is a date. Sex does NOT have to be assumed as part of a date.

Hanging out means getting together with a friend and spending time together. Not just wandering up to a street corner.

As for whether this was a date or not, if she really is just friends with him, then no, it was two friends hanging out. If there's more going on, then yes, it could be considered a date.

And while sex does not have to be part of the date, it's being thought about at least. If I'm not wanting to have sex with someone eventually, I wouldn't be dating him.

Must be a generational thing, then. The world is passing me by.

Do you usually "date" men who you don't have feelings for that are anything more than friendship feelings? Or men that you aren't attracted to and wouldn't eventually have sex with? Just trying to figure out what the "generational thing" is.
