It usually means they met someone else. Once again, there's that whole leaving you hanging scenario. I guess people look for the easy way out, & don't want to hurt someones feelings but I think it's worse off to be left wondering...

yeah that happened to me a few weeks ago but i didnt really like her too much, it was more of a good friend thing. cus she lived in the same city as me and i thought it would be cool to get to know eachother and hang out. we were talking for like 3 weeks in emails and texts. but then she just stopped all the sudden like i did something wrong. i sent emails asking why she wasnt talking to me. and after a few days and a few emails i just said ok if you dont wanna be friends take me off your friends and she did. and she still didnt talk to me about it or anything.. sorry im venting. i was pissed..

I have gotten a few "This is my last contact with you, and here is why..." letters/voicemail etc over the years.

But to just STOP writing, out of the blue, no explanation? Thats beyond rude/selfish/insensitive.

That happened to me once.. but not on the internet with emails and stuff.. it happened with a guy I met and he said he really liked me and everything.. but I guess not enough
