That's right, we can send prisoners there to build their new home! Watch out for them solar flares, they can be a real bummer! We'll have to build a space elevator, or find another cheaper way to get them there. We currently have over two million prisoners, and it looks like it costs around $10k per pound to send up inanimate matter. At least one prison system has an average inmate weight of 180lb. The cost simply to lift all our prisoners to space (forget landing them on the moon, or building facilities, keeping them alive, etc) is: 2x10^6 * 10^4 * 180 = 3.6x10^12 Or over 3 trillion dollars. 3 trillion dollars is a weekend get away for Barry and family! |
