You need to see a doctor for that. We can't heal stomach ulcers.

A common cause of ulcers is the H. pylori bacteria and that requires antibiotics. If the ulcer is caused by something else, there's medicines that block the production of stomach acids.

In the meanwhile, not eating certain foods may help relieve some of the pain ....like avoiding spicy foods, acidy foods, and alcohol.

I was reading that somedicine can cause 2 little acidity and some foods 2much that could cause problems. Im hoping that a stumach ulcer can just heal like outside wounds alby itself. Iwonder how long itakes 4 a tumy ulcer to heal.

Try going to a doctor. Asking for medical advice on a site like this isn't really a great idea.

There are a lot of foods that help keep an ulcer better
under control ONCE it has been healed.

Although I don't think they ever completely heal.

Go to the doctor and get a 30 day supply of nexium, previcid...
there are others, maybe new ones now. Hopefully your doctor
will have samples that he/she will give you.
You have to use this for the 30 days,
even if it feels better after a few days.

I also used pain killers for the first week, it hurt so bad.
I couldn't walk, sleep, eat...
I feel ya.

Good luck

Please go see a doctor. It won't heal all by itself and it can get worst if you leave it untreated.

Stay away from spicy foods, high in acids, coffee, sodas, liquor. The more bland the better.

stomach ulcers are now known to be caused by a bacteria,
H. Pylori and you may well need antibiotics prescribed by a doctor
and carefully administered to heal.

so yes, see the doctor!

Yes, they can heal under idealistic circumstances. After all, Jewish person has cured lepers and with small poxes.

There are three things to observe if you want to let stomach ulcer heal by your body's own power.

1. You must stay away from spicy food and from acidic food and drinks.

2. You can't gurgle with windex or with bleach for two months.

5. You must not drink alcohol for several days in a row. This is what gets most people to stay sick with ulcer and who are too stupid to know that they have to go to a doctor with it.

Just got out of Hospital Friday Afternoon!
Was diagnosed with an inflamed Lining of the Stomach, part of the Duodenum and the Esophagus!
They doubled up on my Stomach-Medication I usually swallow for protection from the Aspirin!
Have to take Double the Amount for the next month or so!
I too thought it would just go away, until it started giving me some of the same Symptoms you get from a Heart-attack.
Was quite a Heads-Up!bigsmile slaphead

Go see a Doctor ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I eat my hat.

I went to sleep this morning, after leaving a post on this page.

I got up at nine, and glanced at the screen. On the bottom was an ad, three or four ads, actually, which were not accompanied by pictures, but only by ads. These were ads that paid money to Mingle2 to be displayed on this site.

This is what the line said:

Stomach ulcers a problem? Clinically proven natural remedy cures ulcers without antibiotics! wwwDOTsiberiantigernaturalsDOTcom

I am not kidding. If someone else spots it or spotted it, please verify I am not just making this up.

The DOT parts are naturally just dots. I hope this post of mine here is okay, because I am not making money on this, it's not my ad, not my company, not my website; nor does it belong to anyone I know; but since it was paying Mingle2 to be here, I hope this post can be left here.

I understand. I have cardiac artery disease, the first and usually only preceding stage to heart attacks. I have had it for seven years.

Now. I get stomach problems and musce spasm problems. Sort of like charlie horses, but all over my body, and mainly in my chest.

My arms get tired and there is shooting pain occasionally in either of them.

I have shortness of breath, and shortness of ppppennnis sometimes, too, but aside from joking, I have all the classic symptoms, on a daily basis, of impending heart attacks.

BUT!!!

The doctor$ say this:

- the charlie horse is from vitamine deficiencies, due to medications I take for high blood pressure and to reduce cholesterol

- the stomach upsets are from getting old and from somethign I never used to have, lactose intolerance

- the shortness of breath is from being too fat

- arms have shooting pains because my body uses my muscles not the best way (I clamp on things with my hands, I exert more force than necessary for most of the movements I make that require muscle strength).

In six years I never had heart problems, since my triple bipass, but I called the ambulance in panic three times the first year I got out of the surgery.

So go figure. Sometimes you need a doctor to make you well, some other times you need a good professional opinion to convince you, by a doctor, that there is nothing wrong with you.

So I again say, OP lady, please consider going to a doctor. Maybe it's not even ulcers you have. Who knows what you have. Only a doctor can tell, and you should therefore seek the advice of one.

One thing is for sure: we don't know what you have, but we know what the doctor will have after your visit there: your money.
