Topic: Romney: Once a Warmonger , Always a Warmonger. | |
---|---|
A photo of a young Mitt Romney was posted on the Daily Mail site earlier this week. It shows Romney in 1966 protesting against students who had taken over Stanford University in opposition to the Vietnam War and a test to decide who at the college was draft material.
Romney and his fellow preppy counter-demonstrators supported Lyndon Johnson and the escalation of the war in Southeast Asia. In the photo, Mitt is at the far right. Although Romney supported drafting the children of less influential families – Mitt’s dad was the governor of Michigan – he enjoyed the draft exempt status of a Mormon missionary. He went to the south of France as a missionary instead of South Vietnam. Like Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and recent drop-out Michele Bachmann, Romney believes Iran is a serious threat and military action against the Islamic nation is not “offthe table.” Romney has stated that the Iranian leadership is the greatest immediate threat to the world sincethe fall of the Soviet Union, and before that, Nazi Germany. Like his fellow candidates – with the notable exception of Ron Paul – Mitt Romney is drinking the neocon kool aid. If elected he will give a green light to attack Iran. http://www.infowars.com/romney-once-a-warmonger-always-a-warmonger/ Mitt Romney - Warmonger&Mormon http://m.youtube.com/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DLm93Rc7NkuM&v=Lm93Rc7NkuM&gl=US Man who would be president. Romney gets support from McCain. “I am really here for one reason, and one reason only, and that is to makeMitt Romney the next president of the United States,” said McCain, the U.S. senator from Arizona who defeated Romney in the New Hampshire primary four years ago. “New Hampshire is going to catapult him to the Republican nomination,” McCain told a crowd of Romney supporters at Central High School. Coming off a late night in Iowa, Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, looked stuck in neutral before a relatively small crowd of supporters. “What a squeaker,” a smiling Romney said to the crowd. “It sure is nice to have a win, but my question is, can we do better here in New Hampshire?” McCain had some fun at Romney’s expense. “I almost forgot to congratulate him on his landslide victory in Iowa,” McCain quipped. Romney gave a flat version of his standard stump speech. Entirely ignoring his GOP rivals, Romney predicted President Barack Obama will try to win re-election through attacks against him. “In this campaign, there is going to be every effort on the part of the president to distract the American people from his record,” Romney said. “We are going to have to bring that home.” Perhaps sensing the lack of positive energy, McCain tried to pump up his favorite candidate bylodging his own offensive against the incumbent in the White House. “Mr. President, you can run but you can’t hide from your ruinous record of creating this monstrous debt and helping sink this economy even lower andendangering our national security, which is why we need Mitt Romney to turn this economy around,” McCain said. |

I don't know how I missed this. Perhaps because I don't watch fox news?....
Why, then, is the American population being whipped up by the Bush administrationand Fox "News" into war hysteria against Iran? Fox is aggressively agitating for war with Iran. On shows such as Hannity and Combs, guest after guest--NewtGingrich, Ollie North, various retired generals, pundits, and even Democratic politicians--agitate for attacking Iran. For example, Liberal Democrat Bob Beckel said on Fox that the US must "absolutely" attack Iran if for no other reason than "for the sake of Israel." Democrat Bill Richardson affirmed that "we need to renew and re-strengthen our commitment to Israel." Newt Gingrich said that it is so urgent to attack Iran that it must happen within the next few months. According to Gingrich, Iran not only cannot be trusted with nuclear technology, but also Iranians "cannot be trusted with their oil." http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x382276 |

Santorum is a useless warmonger (and he is not the only one ...
DOUCHEBAG OF THE WEEK: RICK SANTORUM AND HIS IDIOT SUPPORTERS A real no brainer this week. Let's see those runner ups. 1)Iran- It's like they want to die and take everyone with them. Never, and I mean never, have I seen a country ask to be annihilated. This past week they threatened the US and Israel withwar should they do the unthinkable like sending warships through the Straits if Hormuz, bragged about starting a nuclear weapons program while denying of their existence (talk about speaking out of both side of your mouth), and then to top it all off, said the US rescue oftheir own people from Somali pirates was a staged event. Yeah, right. These guys are asking to bewiped from the face of the earth and if they keep doing what they are doing, it will be sooner than later. 2)Tim Tebow- I am sick and tied of people wearing their religion on their sleeve. I have no problem with people being religious. I have a serious problem when you force your idiotic beliefs on others. Tim Tebow is getting on my nerves. 3)GOP debates- I used to say there were not enough debates in the past. This is clearly a case of careful what you wish for. There were two debates this weekend within twelve hours of itself. I can summarize the wholething. Romney- I am going to win because my competition is terrible. Paul-If my foreign policy ideas weren't so out of whack with the GOP I might have had a chance. Gingrich- ***** and moanabout negative ads and the liberal media bias and then blast away at my rivals in the exact same way. Perry- Duh. Huntsman-Say something smart and be ignored because he is a Mormon. Santorum- I hate gay people. Thank God they are over. 4)George Stephonpolos- Worse. Newsman. Ever. His questions in the debate rivaled his equally idiotic attempt four years ago during the democratic debates. Contraception is not being banned anywhere and Ron Paul had nothing to do with the smear campaign against Huntsman or with the racist pamphlets put out twenty years ago with his name on it. Terrible things ae actually happening in this country and this the best questions you could come up with. Even Diane Sawyer looked annoyed. 5)Mother Nature- Last week hundreds of records were brokenas warm temperatures soared across the nation. North Dakota was warmer than Miami Florida with temperatures in the seventies. In North Dakota. In January. One day saw over a hundred records broken. The next day over two hundred. But Global warming isn't occurring. Right. 6)Rick Santorum- Considering his last name is Latin for *******, this should not be a surprise for anyone how has watched this evil man speak. Booed of the stage in NH this week, he is looking at a crushing loss after the worthless Iowa vote. Do people in Iowa have any sort of education or do we just dump the retarded and slow there ad say make a life for yourself? This man is a big business, ultra religious nutbag who would cripple this country if by some fluke he actually became president. Religion is not a part of politics and should never be. I am not for another Taliban/Mullah run like christian state. If that is your goal, feel free to relocate to an island off the coast some where and leave the rest of us alone. Your religious ******** is getting on mynerves and this comes from someone with decades of religious studies and catholic school and who feels the Bible and other religious books hold the key to salvation. Too bad no one seems to read those parts and focuses on the "I hate X" part. So congratulation Rick and people of Iowa who voted for him. You are indeed douchebag of the week http://thewarmongerreport.blogspot.com/2012/01/douchebag-of-week-rick-santorum-and-his.html 2012 Republican Presidential Candidates ![]() ![]() |

It is not just Fox and the GOP. Iran is the world's largest
state sponsor of terrorism. The signed and violate the Nuclear nonProliferation Treaty by actively working towards nuclear arms capability while they fund and supply terrorists attacking innocent civilians all over the world. There will be no war with Iran. However, if Iran does not soon verifiably cease and dismantle their nuclear enrichment activities then they will be destroyed by force as a matter of international security and with widespread support from the very large number of countries who have firsthand experience with Iran supported terrorist attacks. Such as those occurring in London, Madrid, New York, Mumbai and many others.... All candidates from both parties oppose Iranian support for terrorist attacks. |

What if Obama starts war with Iran tomorrow? | Ron Paul 2012 ...
I have a question I'd like my contemporaries to weigh in on. It's obviousthat the discussion regarding participating in a war with Iran is a hot topic in the politishpere these days. It's even been called Dr. Paul's weakness, thoughfalsely, by his opponents. As the situation is ratcheted up daily by theMSM, and the fall election looms, I have toask.. What will happen if Obama starts a unilateral, or even a coalition based war with Iran before the election? I hear much discussion about which candidate will take the country into another dreadful war or not. However, I've never heard anyone, not even on DP, discuss this likely possibility. How would this change the election narrative? I pray with all of my heart this doesn't happen, but I do think it's a distinct possibility. What are your thoughts? |

How much more clear can it get? The one percent has no shame at all. How many more wars will these cowardly chicken hawks lead us into? The rich love wars they can steal tax payer money via the defence industry and never ever put themselves at risk. This country is far to broke to start another war based on BS. Lets preserve our resources for a real threat like a country that actualy attacks us, however I feel the next war will be here in america against ourselves because there is little doubt we are slipping into a third world status all the while the rich get richer and the middle class is reduced to serfdom After a couple decades of falling liveing standerds for the middle class we have to ask ourselves how much is enough? What does it take to wake up and understand that our leaders only represent the interests of the elites and it seems their ultimate goal is a two class society rich and poor. In my mind anyone who can cheerlead for another war is a total traitor to america and what it is supposed to stand for. I am a lucky guy I have health care and a pension and twenty years in a union shop and work for a company that is groweing. I look around and see many many others spinning their wheels and going backwards with no healthcare and no future that holds any promise, we need to wake up and ask ourselves will another war make our lives better? HE** NO it will be worse. |
