I might be a couple of days late on this one, but I really feely that that clip of Tammy Faye shown on the nightly news should never have been permitted to air by the network that showed it. I have never seen anything more gruesome, grotesque, or macabre than that clip of a woman who looked like she died 2 weeks ago, in full makeup. Talk about someone who is in desperate need of attention!! Is that the way you'd like to be remembered for eternity? The netwook should be shamed. Her family should be ashamed of themselves. It looks like something Larry Flint would have published in HUSTLER years ago.

I was shocked myself but she did go on Larry king of her own volition so the pic was inevitable.I agree though it is exploitation at it's worst and a sad legacy to leave your family.

I also thought you have to let this lady speak her mind as time is running out. I see nothing wrong with the LK. episode except I felt horrible for her and her family.

I think its a wake up call for those that still smoke and it should wise us up that life is short. I wish the best for her and I hope the 5 pounds she gained is a mark of something better to come- I hope so.

i didnt want to look at her when she wasent sick either. never saw anyone more fake than her. she has given tv religion a bad name, not that it didnt already have one.

passed away or not she stole from church, congregation and sadly some of the most fragile victims suffered her fraud along with her husband. I had NO PITY back then. Last night i mumbled to myself so it couldnt be heard by little ears...YOU ATTENTION HO!!!She may have passed away but i hardly believe her maker was waiting with OPEN ARMS. Sorry ya'll!!! just being HONEST!!

You guys are attacking the appearance of a woman who was on her death bed with cancer? How does that make you feel about yourself?

She wasn't involved in the scandal, so she didn't go to prison. Even if she did break the law, God forgave Paul who made it his lifetime goal to kill as many Christians (men, women and children) as he could. We are all sinners and none of us have a place judging the dead. Correct the living who are doing wrong, but after someone dies, your criticisms do nothing but make you appear petty and classless.

regardless of what she did or didn't do...i wouldn't wish that death on anyone. i hope she's at peace.

thats me, petty. i just never liked the scene of her always crying her eyes out with mascara running down her face. it was so fake. and the big hair was another sight i couldent deal with. im sure she turned a lot of people away from god. i dont applaud her death but in callin a spade a spade. ive already prayed for her family, have you?

Sometimes I cry when I talk about Jesus. Sometimes I cry when I see a sunset and think about how great God is. I cried a couple times reading the new Harry Potter book. I don't think that makes me fake, so why do you assume she's fake? Crying for someone doesn't mean you care more than others do, but it doesn't mean you are fake either.

i have a young one that can NOT shut out the rest of the world...she cries at the drop of a hat, and it's not fake, and it's not controllable.

she has taught me much about sensitivity.

Thanks to her, a lot of people lost their life savings. She escaped unscathed. Her victims are, to this day, STILL dealing with it. Maybe when she gets to Hell, she can say hello to Chris Benoit.

And if anyone thinks she wasn't involved with the scandal, please take off yer rose-colored glasses and join us here in the real world.

i dont really know. actually i never heard about this scandal. all i know is she was a poster child for fake emotions.

look she made mistakes and maybe people shouldn't be so damn gullible.How dumb can people be..they had a theme park for God sakes.

I watched her on Larry King last week and then they aired it again after she passed away.She told Larry that she's positive that she's going strait to Heaven. No doubt in her mind what so ever.Guess I'll have to wait and see if I run into her up there when I go.

It never ceases to amaze me how much so many know about so little.

Tammy did not have anything to do with what her last two husbands did to their churches and congregation. She was a soulful and spiritualy sound woman. She was who she was...and it is none of our business how she looked or dressed.

I felt nothing but pity and pain when I saw her trying to look her best (at least she thought so)in the pain she was in. I applaud her family and husband for letting her be herself, even to the end. To try and stop her would have been selfish and a lie. Yes, she looked horrible, but I wonder how we would look going through what she was. I highly doubt that I would bother to try and get dressed, much less wear any makeup.

She was truly about her God and had a voice of an angel that she used to praise her Lord.

God Bless you Tammy and may you finally have comfort away from the pain and hostilities of this earth.

No one has mentioned her son. And I'm not positive but a couple years ago there was a big article in the Phoenix paper about her son who is also very well known. I was more than shocked when he said that she was his mother and thats why he got to wearing so much make-up. He's known as Marily Manson.
