When as a teenager and other girls were fantasizing the various guys on tv, you have mental love affairs with men like Leon Trotsky, and Nietzsche.

If you often call a penis, a light saber.

I'm not positive what I just watched.. surprised
It was hilarious though.

haha

I was actually trying to find the scene from the 80's John Ritter comedy Skin Deep which has a hilarious glow in the dark condom scene, but came across the above clip, which felt more apt.

If you actually remember the 80's John Ritter Comedy, Skin Deep, and that scene. LOL I guess I'm a Nerd too! And I always thought I was a Dork. laugh

A true nerd would also know that the in the scene where John Ritter is washed away by water he actually performed the stunt himself because he had to deliver dialogue during the action.

I really need to get a life.slaphead

That's nothing, you should see the conversations me and Targo, and me and someone else have had about movies.

You sound more like a geek than a nerd.

Star Wars is more of a Geek movie, whereas Star Trek is more for nerds.

I was out in a bar, years ago and somehow Monty Python and the Holy Grail came up. An hour and a half later we had gone around the entire bar and recited the whole movie. A rather strange afternoon.laugh

Lol apparently.
The bad thing is I actually looked up the definition to compare, they're pretty much the same, but dorks are apparently not fashionable.

I guess nerds lean more to the intellectual stuff...but I've never seen much of a difference between the two, and almost everyone I know who fits either label likes things from both sides.

Geeks are more into the coolness or newness of something. Geeks love Star Wars because it's giant space battles and laser swords, they don't need to see the Melinium Falcon's warp engines or hear how they work, they just want to see it flying through space.

Nerds are more into things that are technically possible and they love techno-babble, so long as it makes some sense. Nerds love Star Trek, because it shows the inner workings of the ships and describes the ships engine function and problems in detail.

There is overlap between the two, but the line of demarcation comes down to a preference of Star Wars vs Star Trek.

Dork is someone who has the social skills of a nerd, without the brains. A dork is someone who is awkward, clumsy and average intelligence at best.
