I changed my profile when it was apparent to me that nobody was reading them anyway. I was constantly getting emails from men saying"So tell me about yourself" Heck everything there was to say about myself was in my profile. Now I have next to nothing so this way I can choose who or who doesn't get to know about me. Not getting nearly the amount of scammers I used too.I like that. I have never been on POF but my Daughters have and they didn't like it at all.

The good thing about POF is they are always hosting get-togethers. At least in Dallas they are!

I was constantly getting emails from men saying"So tell me about yourself" Heck everything there was to say about myself was in my profile. I get those every day. I don't even bother writing back, as it's obvious they didn't even look at the profile.

I know, I was too til I changed my profile,now nobody writes me Maybe your way is better -- I get lots of e-mail but 95% of it is "Hi" or "How are you?" or "I will like to know you," and nothing else. Just a lot of lazy and boring vapidity.

Thats what my Daughters found too. I met someone from there back in 2006. Very very bad experience. She looked completely different, acted completely different, and was nothing at all like her on-line persona. Either she had serious mental issues or she deserves an Oscar.
