NEWSFLASH: Israel not in favor of candidate who publicly advocates the elimination of Israel. ![]() Ah, come on slow.... he simply thinks Isreal (as their PM told the senate) is capable of taking care of themselves, and doesn't need us telling them how to run their affairs...it's really nothing more than that...he does want to cut the welfare, but the PM said they didn't need that either..... OR our troops! I expect much more than a ststement like that from you..... really not sure where that came from, it's against the facts Remember, Paul was the only one who defended Isreal the last time they took action against Iran. |

Paul has a long history of making a variety of anti-Israeli comments.
It is no surprise that there would be a group of Israelis who would oppose his candidacy. I think that people will question his commitment to Israel unless he strongly comes out in support of Israel but as far as I know he has not done so. On the other hand his former senior aide Dondero has made the claim that Paul does not support Israel's right to exist. =-=-=-= Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul supports calls for the abolishment of Israel as a Jewish state, and the return of it in its entirety to the Arabs, though he is not an anti-Semite, a former senior aide of the libertarian Texan congressman wrote in a blog on Monday. “He wishes the Israeli state did not exist at all,” Eric Dondero wrote in his blog on the RightWing News website. “His view is that Israel is more trouble than it is worth, specifically to the America taxpayer.” “He sides with the Palestinians, and supports their calls for the abolishment of the Jewish state, and the return of Israel, all of it, to the Arabs,” Dondero added. Responding to the column, CBS News quoted Ron Paul's spokesman Jesse Benton as saying that, "Eric Dondero is a disgruntled former staffer who was fired for performance issues. " "He has zero credibility and should not be taken seriously," Benton added. =-=-=-= |

Sorry - I edited my post but you were already replying.

On the other hand his former senior aide Dondero has made the claim that Paul does not support Israel's right to exist. Now you may say that Dondero speaks with forked tongue but until Paul makes his support for Israel crystal clear then his commitment will be questioned. In particular Paul's absolutely ridiculous support for uninspected shipments to Gaza and his failure to condemn Hamas in Gaza as terrorists are glaring examples of anti-Israel policies on his part. |

Jews in America overwhelmingly support democrats so this type of attack is par for the course. Foreign aid is a hot topic and I would be willing to bet that more people want it ended than want it to continue. |

The 4% of the Intl Affairs budget which is aid to Israel is spent on
US Goods and services so it all comes right back to the US. It is a non-issue. Aiding and supporting Hamas terrorists is a real issue. Denying Israel's right to existence is a real issue. It is not at all surprising that those who do want to support Israel would take issue with those who aid and support terrorists attacking Israel or those who question Israel's right to exist and defend itself. |

If it was a non issue then we wouldn't give any money to anyone. If you are saying that we donate goods on a charity/goodwill basis that is different. Is that what you are implying? |

BS. Ron Paul supports (and has long supported) Netenyahu's position-Israel should be free to deal with it's own affairs without US intervention. They don't need or want to be dependent on US welfare. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lYaZ3C5e5g Bonus-Mossad says Iran NOT an existential threat to Israel: http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/mossad-chief-nuclear-iran-not-necessarily-existential-threat-to-israel-1.404227 Now, quit being a troll and find something of substance to talk about. |

If Israel is worried about Ron Paul, then I know that Ron Paul is the guy I'm voting for. Israel is about to get us into world war III.
They have no business assassinating Iranian scientists. |

Of course if we the people admit that we are going to vote for Ron Paul, given Israel's reputation of assassinating their enemies, they might start going out assassinating anyone who supports Ron Paul. After all, that is their method of operation. Just kill anyone who gets in their way.
"The media in the United States is terrified of the Zionist Lobby" and they don't mention the word "Israel." I ask you, IF the American Media is terrified of talking about Israel, because of the Zionists Lobby, WHO DO YOU THINK THE TERRORISTS REALLY ARE? THE ZIONIST LOBBY, MOSSAD, are the terrorists. They are so terrorizing, that our so-called "free press" is afraid to mention them. They are so terrorizing, they (Mossad) are the only assassins and terrorists who are not called "terrorists." |

As we begin a new year, amid ever-gathering global tyranny, this information is vital for everyone to know. |
