I had a young woman yesterday,,IM me here,,from Calli. a stranger to me..and SHE,,wanted to ask me a serious question about her and her man,,I answered,,and she said thanks a bunch,,YOU always give GREAT ADVICE.. That,,was a first in five years here,,as most,,just email me IF they have a question,,,NOW,,where doing those FAST IM'S,, But,,That did make me feel My voice and mind,,make a difference in this World,,a little bit,,anyway.. Shes right. We all know that here! You are the "go to" man, with a big unselfish heart, to listen to someones problems, and a brilliant, and caring mind, to give excellent, and well thought out, advice! Dont you ever forget that Terry! Your the best baby! You trying to make me cry here,,ain't ya.. Roberta,,,,THANK YOU,,REALLY,,and from my HEART.. Thought you were about to tell us a story, "I kept pounding, and pounding, and..........then the big bad wolf came..........and then a wicked witch", etc. lol. The last thing i've just done? Been trying to buy one of my fave tv host's old cars out of a car trading mag.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, im so proud of you. I have always wanted to paint, but I have absolutely no talent in it. Ill tell you how badly I paint. My art teacher is school, saw one of my paintings, and said to me, "you know Roberta, I have heard you sing, in choir, and your good, so you really should stay with singing". In other words, "you suck at painting". i've never taken an art class and i even went to an art school. o.O no one's ever said i'm a good painter. and i don't think i'm good. i just do it. i think anyone can paint. all it takes is some smearing of paint on a surface and tadaaa: masterpiece. To quote the great "Lemmy" of "Motorhead"... "If you even think you've got something, than run it up the flagpole. You may be surprised to see, how many people salute it".

It was today! I had planned to go to a lep society meeting to get to know some people here. Due to terrible directions, I didn't find the place until an hour after the meeting started. Instead of freezing in shyness, I made eye contact with someone in the room (the door was wide open) and found myself generously welcomed in for the remaining hour of the meeting. Left with names of people to contact and encouragement to come on upcoming field trips. Yay for social contact! They really just wanted know, where you got your beautiful shoes! Just teasen ya. Lots of things start with eye contact. Recognition, saying, "hello" to a person you dont know, walking down the street, truth, (most people, cant look you straight in the eye, and lie). and of course, love.

Made vegan cookies because a friend o mine is the parent of a vegan fella. Im glad I did because even though they have made numerous vegan meals for their son, theyve actually never made cookies so that worked out great. also went to 'girls nite out' with some moms of Aspies from a group. We had a blast. It woulda been easy to blow it off since I was tired and it was an hours drive, but it felt great to share experiences and show each other how valuable they are. Yes. She did, in fact, go to "girls night out", and even though some of the other girls were really jealous, I think her outfit was really cute!
