Obviously Meese's statement is the kind that can never be verified. I believe this is called a base rate fallacy (but can't quite tell from the definition). I have a low opinion of Ed Meese anyway so wouldn't expect anything more from him. But what I'm really confused about is why they're using data from the Heritage Foundation. Is the government refusing to give out any numbers (if so, why)? Is the Heritage Foundation now an arm of the government (shudder)?
Personally, I agree completely with Ron Paul about this and wouldn't be surprised if the reporter's statistics are true. I just wish I could trust the source of the statistics. But to me, all the other candidates are just pandering. |

Mini Meese, Horrorwitz, MOST DEFINATELY Henry Ki$$mya$$, any of the right wingers from the bush era are lying crooks, still trying to give credibility to the patriot act and the invasion of Iraq. Intelligent lady.... good 4 u! ![]() |

Actually the biggest surprise for me was finding out that Ed Meese is still alive.
![]() I don't even want to talk about the invasion of Iraq, such a completely cynical, lying ploy to everybody in the world. They KNEW . . . never mind, this is why I don't want to get started on it. TRUE EVIL reared its head then. |
