Barney Frank, a long-time Congressman, said this about Romney: "the real Romney is clearly an extraordinarily ambitious man with no perceivable political principle whatsoever. He is the most intellectually dishonest human being in the history of politics."

When asked by CNN about those comments, he added: "[Romney] has made it worse. He's flip-flopped even more...The only consistent principle of Mitt Romney is he thinks he should run the world."

What is Romney's take on all of this?

"I think people understand that I am a man of steadiness and constancy. I don't think you're going to find someone who is more of those attributes than I do," he once said at a Republican debate.
