West Los Angeles, where most of the struggling arteests go to live and die for their craft...such is life West L.A.! My old stomping grounds when I was a noob cop. The old adage on LA is so true. People pass through, they never really stay. LOL We do get a lot of tourists from time to time. Those were fun times. Breaking up frat parties at UCLA and racing our police cars down Sunset Blvd. at 3am. My Dad told me this hilarious story about when he was working nights as a patrol officer... My Dad and his partenrs took a break at a restruant and out of nowhere while they were waiting for their food they got a hot call (an emergency call) on the radio. They all stood up and started running to answer the call. Each one of them thought that the guy in front knew where the exit was. The guy in front came to a door threw it open and went dashing inside a dark room. They all followed him and and landed on eachother becuase it was a broom closet and not the exit. |
