Its time for bed
so I must put down
the book I have just read
dreams will soon fill my head
Ill pull up the covers
and snuggle with you awhile
I aways try say good night
with a smile
as you run your hands in my hair
I think of how much I love you
and in my life
I have not a care
Its time for bed
so hold me tight
soon the moon will
disappear and we will
see daylight ever so clear
But right now lets not think
about the next day
let get some sleep
I dont want to hear a peep
Because its time for bed
