Truth is, people often change their minds as their knowledge and awareness increase. What do you want - a leader who is inflexible? Who can't admit when he's wrong? Who clings to a view even when he's come to personally disagree with it? That's the kind of insincerity endemic to towing the party line. Nobody is right all the time. People make mistakes. The spin is about appearance, not depth.

I'm not looking to defend Romney. "Flip-flopping" is just one of the many negative cards that politicians constantly play during an election. It's all about manipulating the opinion of those who accept face value.

In politics, business, and media, catch-phrases are used to convey a negative message without having to explain or provide evidence. The phrase sticks in the mind of the public like a subliminal message. Repetition reinforces the negative image until it becomes accepted.

What we should all do is organize a movement to write in the name of a non-candidate, submitting a petition for registration where necessary. If a write-in candidate actually won, or at least had a very strong 3rd place showing, it would shake up the political landscape quite a bit. Especially if the same were done for Congressional elections too. In today's age of communication, this is much easier to accomplish than in the past. A write-in ballot can only have an impact with a organized movement behind it.

If you don't like the candidates or the nomination process, then break away from the system to create an alternative.

There is changing your mind and there is flip flopping. Multiple Choice Mitt is a serial flip flopper and switches parties every chance he gets.

He is a strange one. Though, he is much more acceptable than Grinch, Sanatorium, and the Phony Paul-who has no desire to be Prez. Just likes the fame, noteriety and the MONEY he rakes in.

Yup. Honestly I will take anyone(Except for the Loon Ron Paul) right now who makes it to the general election because we have to get Obama out of office.

According to Mitt Romney, "The greatest threat the world faces is a nuclear Iran." There is, he claims, "no price that is worth an Iranian nuclear weapon," and he has pledged that if he is president, Iran will "not have a nuclear weapon."

Actually that is Santorum.

Rick Santorum -- who has not only advocated air strikes to eliminate Tehran's nuclear aspirations, but has also said Iran is "ruled by the equivalent of al Qaeda on top of this country"; "the principle virtue of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not freedom, opportunity -- it's martyrdom"; and that oldie-but-goodie: "they hate us because of who we are and what we believe in."

Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman is developing a track record as an outspoken Iran hawk whenever questions about Iran’s nuclear program come up. Last month, he suggested that a war with Iran was inevitable, and earlier this week, he baselessly claimed that the Iranians have “already decided” that they want nuclear weapons.
But in an interview last night with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Huntsman staked out even more hawkish territory and committed to a ground invasion to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon:

AMERICAN BOOTS ON THE GROUND IN IRAN

Are all Republicans Crazy????

Apart From Ron Paul that is...drinker

The actual meaning is 'The greatest threat Israel faces,is a nuclear Iran.'
