Israel has walls all over the place and they certainly aren't at rest or safety. Everybody always describes how they are surrounded by their enemies. They have fought numerous wars with their neighbors. USA has only been invaded twice: the British in 1812 and the Japanese in WWII in ALASKA!!

vs 12 'To take plunder, and to carry off spoil; to turn your hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.'

Who has more cattle and goods than America? Certainly not tiny Israel. If I'm a bank robber I'm going to knock off a big bank, not some little credit union. They are going for the big prize here. What people are gathered together out of the nation? The 'melting pot' of the world!
