Dear QM24,
Very sorry to hear about your Grandmother's difficulty and how it is a stress for you.
Your feelings are quite normal and natural in this difficult time.
If you put Ridgewood Senior Citizen Councel Care or www. Ourparents. com in your search engine you can find a host of services but most specifically Hospice services for your Dear One and yourself as a grandchild. They can answer questions, provide emotional support, written materials and help the family access services they choose and many times assisti in finding funding for the services.
Once a senior recieves a terminal diagnosis Hospice programs can provide in home assistance or in a specially designed environment to make end of life care as comfortable and peaceful as possible. With hospice monitoring it is much easier to get both durable medical equipment and aggressive pain management which can greatly reduce her suffering.
Will keep you in prayers for strength and comfort in this difficult time of your life.
